The purpose of this grant is to make the CEPS Ideas Lab a more diverse endeavour. In order to reach this goal, this project takes up an ambitious and holistic approach, which includes diversity goals like drafting an in-house gender and diversity policy, raising awareness about the importance of diversity among all staff, involving Young Thinkers during the Ideas Lab and continuous ‘diversity monitoring’ of all (on- and offline) events. As such, this project not only contributes to making the Ideas Lab a leading example in Brussels in terms of diverse policy discussion, but also provide CEPS with a sustainable diversity strategy that will impact all aspects of the organisation’s work: 1. Research and Analysis; 2. Publications and Outreach; 3. Organisation of Events; 4. Human Resources (hiring and promotion practices in the house).
