CEPS worked with the Thai National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission to develop a strategy for its future Internet Policy. The project was initiated in May 2015 and ended in May 2016 with the presentation of a book and a 3-day training session in which high level academics presented the chapters they had contributed to the book. The project, led by CEPS Senior Fellow Andrea Renda, looked at most aspects of Internet policy, and involved academics like Christopher Yoo (UPenn), Simon Forge (SCF Associates) and Erik Bohlin (Chalmers University of Goteborg). Topics covered included: telecommunications regulation, industrial policy options for infrastructure deployment, spectrum policy and wireless broadband, network neutrality, platform regulation and competition policy, and better regulation in the electronic communications sector.
