CEPS Project

Study on the costs of compliance for the financial sector

0

The project aimed at providing a high-level view of costs of compliance with regulatory reforms and supervisory reporting requirements stemming from EU regulation. More specifically, it provided a clear understanding of the scale and nature of the incremental costs of complying with supervisory reporting requirements stemming from EU regulation that was either introduced (new) or significantly amended since 2008, and of the main drivers of these costs. In addition, it singled out, from the total costs of compliance, those related to supervisory reporting.
