Sylvain Bouyon

Associate Research Fellow

Sylvain Bouyon is Associate Research Fellow at CEPS.

He holds a PhD on monetary and banking issues, with several relevant academic publications on these topics. Sylvain studied economics, finance, econometrics and law at the Université Paris 1 Sorbonne and at the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris.

Prior to joining CEPS, he worked as an economic adviser at the European Mortgage Federation and as an economist/econometrist at the National Bank of Belgium.

As an expert in European issues, Sylvain is conducting research projects in the fields of regulation, retail finance, FinTech, digital single market, consumer protection and macroeconomics. He has managed several projects for European regulators and the financial industry on these topics.

PhD in Monetary Economics; Masters and Bachelors in Economics and Finance (Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris and Université Paris 1 Sorbonne)
