Antonella Zarra is a Research Assistant within the Global Governance, Regulation, Innovation and Digital Economy (GRID) unit at CEPS.
Her areas of expertise pertain mainly to policy evaluation (impact assessments, interim and ex post evaluations) in various EU policy areas, including industrial policy, digital economy, sustainable development, energy policy and better regulation as a whole. Her research focuses on industrial competitiveness, internet policy and competition policy.
Prior to joining CEPS, Antonella worked for the Public and Regulatory Affairs department of Telecom Italia (TIM) and for the European Telecommunications Network Operators association (ETNO) in Brussels. In 2015 she carried out a traineeship at the European Commission DG Competition, within the task force Digital Single Market dealing with the sector inquiry on e-commerce. Previously, she worked at the Public Administration Department of the Italian government.
Antonella holds a summa cum laude Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Public Administration and International Institutions from Bocconi University in Milan.
