Damir Gojsic is a Research Assistant in the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit at CEPS.
His research interests focus on the larger area of political economy and political institutions.
Previously, he worked as a student research assistant for the European Social Survey, dealing with statistical fraud detection in interviews. He also was a blue book trainee at the European Commission (DG Eurostat), where he dealt with computational statistical literacy and an audit of national statistical institutes.
He specialises in working with large datasets, including data collection, preparation and visualisation.
He studied Political Science (BA and MA) with a focus on quantitative methods and machine learning.
His mother tongues are German and Croatian. In addition, he is fluent in English and has basic knowledge in French
