0

In-person event

The global economy is navigating exceptional uncertainty, shaped by geopolitical tensions, technological disruption and evolving macroeconomic constraints.

Drawing on the latest World Economic Outlook Update, Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, the IMF’s Economic Counsellor and Chief Economist, will discuss the IMF’s current growth projections and highlight the key risks shaping the outlook.

The discussion will also address major policy challenges facing advanced and emerging economies alike, including the macroeconomic implications of the ongoing technology boom, widening external imbalances, complex monetary and fiscal trade-offs, and priorities for structural reform in an increasingly fragmented global economy.

Registration & light breakfast from 08:30 onwards.
