Fredrik Andersson is a Researcher in the Financial Market and Institutions unit at CEPS.
Interested in financial markets policies and financial market regulation, Fredrik is focusing the larger part of his research on analysing the impact of regulations on the industry and consumers. He has conducted research on payment services, auditing regulations, disclosure of inducements and suitability rules for retail investors, and insurance products such as natural catastrophe insurance and occupational pensions.
He is also a Researcher in the European Credit Research Institute (ECRI), where he is focusing his research on payments, consumer credits and digital finance.
Fredrik holds a Master’s degree in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges where he specialised on the analysis of Public Policies. He also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics at Stockholm University. Prior to joining CEPS, he conducted consultancy activities for Business Sweden’s office in Paris, contributing to policy discussions and analysis while interning at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and worked on the final stages of InvestEU during his traineeship in DG ECFIN at the European Commission.
His mother tongue is Swedish, he is fully fluent in English and French and has limited knowledge of German.
