Christian Dietz is a Researcher in the Energy, Resources and Climate Change (ERCC) Unit at CEPS.
Before joining CEPS, he worked as a consultant for the International Fund for Agricultural Development in South Africa and Lesotho, focusing on project design, monitoring and policy analysis. He subsequently gained profound private sector experience at a sustainability consulting firm in Germany, where he advised companies from various industries on analysing their carbon footprint and decarbonizing their businesses.
Christian holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Public Policy from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. He also completed a dual-study Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration at Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
His mother tongue is German, he is fully fluent in English, and he has limited working proficiency in Italian and Spanish.
