This new report draws on the work of a Transatlantic Strategy Group of Eminent Persons who propose ways to build renewed Western consensus on Eastern policy.

The event will draw recommendations as to what the West must do with Russia; what the West must do with the common neighborhood; and what the West must do for itself. The Transatlantic Strategy Group was launched by the Johns Hopkins University SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations and the German Council on Foreign Relations DGAP, and funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation. Strategy Group members and lead authors of the report are Daniel Hamilton and Stefan Meister.
