This panel debate aims to analyse the composition of the new Parliament and how it may affect the parliamentary work and EU policy making in the coming years. It will look into the main policy priorities of the next EP and the institutional reforms that could contribute to enhance its performance. It will also reflect on the process of selecting the President of the Commission and the role that the EP and the elections should play.
