While the past months have seen record temperatures, the political climate has gotten even more heated. From climate action to social cohesion, resilience to well-being — today’s challenges demand fresh approaches to prosperity, sustainability, and equity and new paradigms that promote local resilience, circular economies, and strategic autonomy. That is why we are organising a high-level workshop on “Rethinking growth: exploring pathways for Europe’s future”, as part of the MultiFutures Horizon project. We aim to bring together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners to imagine what various beyond-growth scenarios would look like for Europe, and to explore concrete pathways to get there.
