On his official visit to Brussels Prime Minister Vlad Filat will meet EU officials and participate in the EPP Summit. He will also speak at a special CEPS Breakfast meeting focusing on Moldova’s European aspirations and efforts towards integration with the European Union, in light of the recent parliamentary elections in the country.
Following the 28 November ballot, the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (LDPM) led by Filat became the second largest party in the country, with 29.42% of the votes and 32 seats out of 101.
