Transatlantic trust: reimagining EU-US relations in the age of grievance
Invite-only event, under Chatham House rules
Edelman & CEPS
The new US Administration promises to be a major disruptive force at a time when the global order is already undergoing profound shifts. The Edelman Trust Barometer 2025 highlights the ‘Crisis of Grievance’, an explosive cocktail of dissatisfaction and mistrust in institutions that is fuelling populism across the world. Insights from this research will underpin a conversation with Governor Nikki Haley, former Governor of South Carolina, US Ambassador to the UN and Republican Presidential candidate, alongside a panel of prominent European personalities. The conversation will focus on how Europe might reimagine itself, its role in the world and its relationship with its most important ally, to thrive in the years to come.
This event will be followed by a cocktail reception
