COVID-19 Eastern Europe webinar: “Facing virulent third wave”

2

While much of the EU has more than met its target of 70% vaccination of adults, the current third wave of the pandemic has become increasingly virulent in Eastern Europe in recent weeks, both in terms of daily infections and death rates.

Thus, on November 5, within the framework of the “3 DCFTAs” Project, CEPS in cooperation with the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum is organizing an online COVID-19 Eastern Europe webinar: “Facing virulent third wave”.

The webinar will debate adequacy of vaccine supplies for the region; outstanding problems of vax-skepticism combined with various logistic and organizational problems hindering fast and full vaccination; the problem of the vicious third wave and the desirable policy response to mitigate its harm for the Eastern European societies. The event will be open to audience participation in Q&A session.
