Continuing the continent’s transformation: EU enlargement 10 years after Croatia’s membership

0

In-person event:

10 years ago, Croatia joined the EU as the latest new member. With the start of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the enlargement discussion has fundamentally changed. Moving away from calls to freeze further enlargements, the EU now needs to expand to protect its strategic interest in its neighbourhood. We are honoured that on this occasion Croatian Prime Minister Mr Andrej Plenković will join us for a discussion on the achievements of his country´s EU membership, but also on the next steps, from the countries in the Western Balkans to Ukraine and Moldova. The European Commission will be asked to contribute.

Mr.Andrej Plenković, Croatian Prime Minister
