On November 13th CEPS will host two panels to discuss the past and the future of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The first panel in the morning will discuss the economics and politics of the 2013 CAP reforms. The second panel, in the afternoon, will look at CAP's future in the coming years.
This event will also be the occasion to launch a new CEPS book, The Political Economy of the 2014-2020 Common Agricultural Policy: An Imperfect Storm, co-published jointly with Rowman & Littlefield International. Edited by Professor Johan Swinnen, the book brings together contributions from leading academics from various disciplines and policy-makers, and key participants in the process from both the European Commission and the European Parliament.
