A workforce transformed: jobs and skills in the age of AI

0

The world of work is being reshaped by AI, which means it is more important than ever to understand the impact that AI will have on jobs, skills, and the way we perform our roles. Join CEPS and PwC for a lunch event looking at how AI is already affecting wages, productivity, and the skills that workers need to succeed. PwC will present its new global AI Jobs Barometer, which analyses more than half a billion job adverts across 15 countries and provides evidence-based insights and recommendations for policymakers, businesses and workers. This will be followed by a discussion with speakers including Deputy-Director-General Stefan Olsson (DG EMPL), Laura Nurski (CEPS), and a representative from PwC. The panel will further consider the necessary policy framework and development needed to address the impact AI has on wages, productivity, jobs and skills of workers.

Welcome and lunch from 12:30
