Leon Oliver Wolf is an Associate Research Assistant at CEPS in the Data Science Team, focusing on the AI World Observatory in cooperation with Google, where he manages communication strategies and social media presence. He also works with the GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) within the SAIS Accelerator Programme, supporting agritech startups across Africa.
Previously, Leon contributed to the Financial Markets and Institutions (FMI) Unit at CEPS, where he worked on data-driven policy analysis and supported projects such as the implementation of the EU Sustainability Directive (NFRD) for MSCI Inc. and the European Late Payment Report 2024 for the European Commission.
With a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and a MSc in Social Scientific Data Analysis from Lund University, Leon has developed a strong understanding of the intersection between data analysis, policy, and international relations. This connection was also prominent in his thesis on structural topic modeling of EU Parliament election manifestos and the analysis of Political Groups.
Leon is fluent in both German and English.
