Katja van der Meer is an Associate Researcher in the Global Governance, Regulation, Innovation, Digital Economy (GRID) unit at CEPS.
Her core areas of work are R&I in Global Health and Agriculture. Prior to joining CEPS, she was a Policy Analyst at ECDPM, focusing on European Foreign and Development Policy, with a particular interest in health, education, gender equality and human development. She has (co-)authored multiple well-received research reports, providing evidence-based policy advice in her areas of research.
Katja holds an MA in Social and Public Policy from the University of Helsinki and an advanced MA in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp.
She is a native Finnish speaker and fluent in English.
