Francesca Chapman is an Associate Researcher in the Energy, Resources and Climate Change (ERCC) Unit. At CEPS, she mainly focuses on the nexus between the green transition and employment. Prior to her current role, she worked as an intern in the same unit.
She is currently doing a PhD in International Relations at the University of Leeds, where her research focuses on Chinese environmental policy.
Francesca holds a First-Class undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford and postgraduate degrees from the College of Europe and the Diplomatische Akademie Wien. In addition to her research roles, she has worked at diplomatic institutions in Shanghai and Vienna.
She is a native English and Polish speaker and is fluent in French and German. She also speaks Mandarin, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
