Associate Researcher

Csaba Stefán is an Associate Researcher in the Institutions unit at CEPS.

His research focuses on EU institutional affairs and political dynamics, including the European Parliament; the radical right and the realignment of the right in the EU; the second-order nature of European elections; European identity; and the relationship between theories of integration, the democratic deficit, and post-Westphalian thought. He also studies the changing balance of power among Member States in the Council.

He holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations and has experience in education and decision-making simulation design through the Robert Schuman Institute in Budapest.
