Antigona Imeri is a Project Assistant at CEPS dealing mainly with Horizon Europe projects. Antigona’s academic foundation lies in conflict prevention and peacebuilding. She has previously conducted field research in the Western Balkans where she particularly examined the intersection between international peacebuilding frameworks and local women’s agency in post-conflict Kosovo.
In 2022, she was selected for the OSCE-UNODA Scholarship for Peace and Security where she gained expertise in conflict prevention through Arm control, Disarmament, and Non-proliferation. She has co-authored the Western Balkan Digital Museum proposal under Regional Youth Peace Lab which aimed to create a platform for inclusive historical memory and digital reconciliation storytelling in post-conflict societies in the Western Balkan region.
She is part of the OSCE Dialogue Academy Network Alumnae which gathers young women from Pristina and Belgrade with the objective of promoting peace, reconciliation and conflict prevention from a bottom-up approach in the region.
