Angela Capolongo

Researcher

Angela Capolongo holds a BA, an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Naples “Parthenope”, and a MSc in Economics and Finance from University of Naples “Federico II”. She is currently completing her PhD in Quantitative Economics at ECARES, Université Libre de Bruxelles.

Since 2014 she has been working as teaching assistant at ECARES and as research assistant for the CEPR Euro Area Business Cycle Dating Committee. In 2016 she was a trainee at the National Bank of Belgium.

Her research interests cover Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and Firm Dynamics. On October 2019, she joined the Economic Policy Unit of CEPS as Researcher to work for a project on potential future monetary policy instruments for the ECB. The project is funded by the Bundesbank and supervised by Professor Dr. Ansgar Belke, University of Duisburg-Essen and Daniel Gros, CEPS Director.
