Alba Morón Cabrera is a transversal Project Officer working as part of the ERCC unit and the Economic Policy and Jobs & Skills units at CEPS.
She has experience in managing projects funded by national, regional and European institutions, endowing her with a comprehensive understanding of funding programmes and opportunities available to researchers.
Prior to joining CEPS, Alba worked at the European Commission at DG RTD, where she supported the cooperation with Africa and the Gulf region under Horizon Europe and participated in the research security initiatives. As a Project Manager she has worked at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and at the University Carlos III of Madrid in several areas such as demography, health, genetics and mortality and aerospace engineering. Additionally, she served as a sole representative of the Spanish National Agency for Innovation (CDTI) in Thailand where she spearheaded initiatives to identify and capitalise on international cooperation opportunities.
Alba holds a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation from the Universidad de Málaga and Bachelor’s Degrees in Law and in Business Administration from the Universidad de Granada, where she completed an Erasmus exchange at the Université de Liège – Haute Ecole du Commerce in Belgium.
Mother tongue Spanish, she is fluent in English and French with intermediate skills in Italian and basic knowledge of German and Thai.
