From June 13 to 14, the European Commission and the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union are holding the Digital Assembly 2019. It is a forum for stakeholders to take stock of the achievements of the Digital Single Market Strategy, draw lessons and exchange views on the contours of a future digital policy. The event is also a great opportunity to showcase how digital is transforming our societies and economies, and how it can help bring positive change to our lives.
With a full agenda of engaging plenary sessions, parallel workshops and high-level panels, the Digital Assembly will cover a wide range of current key topics on digital policy.

As part of the Digital Assembly 2019, CEPS has the pleasure of organising the “Digital 4 Jobs” workshop, which will aim at replying to a number of pressing questions such as:
- What are the urgent steps to be taken in the next five years to address the parallel phenomena of the shortage of skilled ICT workers and the restructuring of the labour market due to digital transformation?
- What will be the impact on social security and pensions systems?
- How can the Digital Europe Programme help?
