International Women’s Day 2026: Celebrating CEPS’ female talent

0

Every year on March 8th, International Women’s Day offers a moment to reflect — both on the progress we have made in Europe and beyond on gender equality, and on the challenges that still have to be tackled. As a leading think tank, we believe that CEPS has an important role to play in that progress.

Gender equality has long been central to how we work. Since signing our Parity Pledge in 2021, we have worked to diversify perspectives across our panels, publications, and policy debates. Ensuring balanced representation is not just a commitment we make on March 8th; it something we strive for year-round.

For the fourth consecutive year, we are marking International Women’s Day with a dedicated commentary series showcasing the expertise of our talented female researchers. This year’s edition includes five commentaries tackling topics such as gender gaps in job burnout, the state of women’s rights in Turkey, and how gender can be meaningfully embedded in the upcoming FP10 package.

Together, these pieces reflect the breadth and depth of expertise that our female researchers bring to some of today’s most pressing policy challenges.
