For the second year running, CEPS is celebrating International Women’s Day by publishing a series of Expert Commentaries written by some of our most talented female researchers.
Like last year, the topics tackled really showcase the breadth and depth of our contributors’ expertise. Topics include (but are not limited to) gender inequality in the Green Deal, the European Commission’s proposal for an independent ethics body, the proposed directive on combatting violence against women and domestic violence, and AI’s potential for positive societal transformation.
We’ll begin the series on International Women’s Day itself on Friday 8 March and will continue publishing them over the coming days, so make sure to check the CEPS website regularly.
CEPS is proud to have launched its own Parity Pledge in 2021. As a leading European think tank, organising more than 100 events every year, it’s our responsibility to promote diverse opinions and ideas. Gender balance and diverse panels are crucial to presenting different perspectives and enhancing debates. The pledge highlights our commitment to gender equality and sets ambitious targets to help promote equality and diversity in all policy events.
We commit to taking an active role in transforming Brussels’ policy landscape to make women’s voices heard and female experts more visible.
You can find out more about CEPS’ Gender Equality Plan and our ongoing work in the wider area of diversity, equality and inclusion here.
