Event Agenda

Energy, Resources and Climate Change

You are cordially invited to a discussion with Nick Carter, Electricity Interconnections and Market Integration Convener of the EUGCC Network, Andrea Villa, Head of European Regulation, Enel SpA, and a representative (TBC) of the Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority (GCCIA), at a webinar on “Renewables Integration and Flexibility in the Electricity Sector,“? which will take place on Tuesday, 26 June 2018, at 10:30 CET.

Increasing electrification of the energy system, based on a growing share of renewable electricity, will reinforce the need for flexibility in the electricity sector. The need can be met by making electricity generation more flexible, both on the demand and storage side, and by expanding the  grid. The webinar will focus on the flexibility of demand such as demand response including smart-grid solutions.

This webinar is part of an EU-funded collaboration between CEPS and the EUGCC Clean Energy Technology Network. It will be moderated by Milan Elkerbout, Research Fellow, CEPS
