Hybrid Event

The implications of new dynamics in the Taiwan (Strait) and in the Indo-Pacific for the EU

1

The European Union stands at a critical juncture in its relationship with the Indo-Pacific region. With the emergence of the Indo-Pacific as a pivotal economic and strategic hub, the EU’s engagement in the region is becoming increasingly vital. In this event, we will delve into the following questions:

  • What is the impact of recent elections on EU-Taiwan relations?
  • What is the potential for Global Gateway cooperation with Taiwan?
  • How can security in the region impact European supply chains?

The event will be followed by a closed door, members-only discussion between 11:10 – 12:00. If you are part of a member organisation and wish to participate, please email keziah.edgoose@ceps.eu
