Lunch Time Meeting

The Future of the EU-UK Partnership

in Science and Research

0
Lunchtime Policy Dialogue Series, co-organised by CEPS and the British Council, that will be looking at the consequences of Brexit for the EU and the UK, and, more importantly, the future of EU-UK collaboration.

In the first Lunchtime Policy Dialogue, the focus will be on the future relations between the EU and the UK in the area of Research and Science. The departure of the UK from the EU may affect the possibility and/or the modalities of UK research institutes and universities to participate in EU-funded schemes, such as Horizon2020 and FP9. This would have not just budgetary consequences but it may also have an impact of the quality of future EU collaborative research projects.

What are the challenges for future long-term EU-UK collaboration in the area of research? What are the options available, for both the EU as well as the UK, in terms of research collaboration? These are the questions which will be discussed during the first Lunchtime Policy Dialogue.

Registration and sandwich lunch from 12:30 – Meeting from 13:15 to 14:30. You can download the Programme of the meeting HERE.
