In-person event:

The Treaty of Lisbon has significantly enhanced the EU’s institutional framework and the instruments at its disposal in foreign policy and external relations, notably through the creation of the function of the High Representative, supported by the European External Action Service. Contributing to the maintenance of international peace and security is one of the core objectives of the EU’s external action. The book launch, like the edited volume, will feature contributions from legal practitioners and leading academics to illustrate the manifold legal issues arising in EU external action and in the EU’s efforts to achieve this essential objective.

For reasons of security, the capacity of the audience will be limited to 50 people. Confirmations of registration will be sent 1 day before the event. Please only present yourself at the premises of the EEAS when having received a confirmation.

This event will be followed by a reception.
