The conference, organised in the framework of the European Policy Institutes Network (EPIN), will examine the upcoming elections to the European Parliament in perspective. The debate will be launched by Klaus Welle, Secretary-General of the European Parliament, and Heather Grabbe, Executive Director of the Open Society Institute, who will discuss how the Commission President should be elected. In the next panel, members of the CEPS High-level Group will explain the main challenges that the next EP will face and present the recommendations of the Group. The conference will finalise with a round table where EPIN experts will give a first-hand, up-to-the-minute analysis of the elections across member states.
Participation in this meeting is exceptionally free of charge.
