Resilience in EU conflict prevention and Peacebuilding

The concept of ‘resilience’ has been gaining prominence in the EU’s thinking about conflict prevention and peacebuilding, as reflected for example in the EU Global Strategy. The European External Action Service is in the process of translating the concept into operational guidance for conflict assessment, and some member states are reflecting on the interplay between internal and external dimensions of security and resilience. As part of the EU-CIVCAP project, CEPS is holding a public lunch-time seminar on 16 March from 13:15 to 14:30 to discuss the relevance of resilience, ways to implement the concept, and what lessons can be learned.

Participation in this event is exceptionally free of charge. A sandwich lunch will be served from 12.30 onwards.
