In-person event

How can the EU thrive in a low-carbon world?

Delivering the European Green Deal for a more competitive EU

0

In person only event

The European Green Deal is approaching its five-year milestone. Despite global economic and geopolitical turbulence and a range of “black swan” events, the outgoing political cycle has achieved significant legislative strides with the Fit for 55 package, laying groundwork towards 2030.

However, the road ahead is still long. The next political cycle will confront the need to “square the circle” of the EU’s goals of achieving decarbonisation, safeguarding economic security, and maintaining international competitiveness.

To inform this debate, a new CEPS report will offer food for thought with 30 policy recommendations as guiding discussion points for the next political cycle.

A networking cocktail will be provided from 17:00 onwards
