The German Institute for International and Security Affairs – Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) are pleased to invite you to our conference focusing on German Ostpolitik in the European and the transatlantic context on 14 November 2017.
In two panels, SWP experts Sabine Fischer and Susan Stewart will analyze Germany’s approach to its Eastern partners with a focus on German-Russian relations after the German federal elections. Together with Steven Blockmans (CEPS), Laure Delcour (IRIS), Wojciech Kononczuk (OSW), Petteri Vuorimäki (EEAS) and further speakers, they will discuss implications for the EU as well as the transatlantic partners.
This event will be held under the Chatham House Rule*.
