Conference

Decarbonising the EU energy system

Evaluating decentralised vs. centralised pathways

0

As the SET-Nav project draws to an end, this final conference in Brussels will discuss it’s results and recommendations.

SET-Nav aims to support strategic decision-making in Europe’s energy sector, enhancing innovation towards a clean, secure and efficient energy system through design and evaluation of different transition pathways, stakeholder discussions and modelling of a variety of case studies. The different pathways analysed multiple dimensions of impact: sustainability, reliability and supply security, global competitiveness and efficiency, with important implications for the next steps in decarbonising the EU energy system.

Against this backdrop, the final conference will present the acquired knowledge, policy implications and recommendations and discuss them with key stakeholders and experts.
