Tackling terrorist financing is a high priority for the Commission and, more broadly, within the EU’s counterterrorism policy. Over the past few years, the Commission policy has aimed at closing down the space in which criminals operate, cutting off their access to money. During the CEPS lunchtime debate Commissioner for Security Union, Sir Julian King, will present current EU policies countering terrorist finances, challenges they encounter and discuss ways forward.
