CEPS, in cooperation with COWI, an international consulting group specialised in engineering, environmental science and economics, is conducting a study for DG ENER of the European Commission on “Corporate Sourcing of Renewable Energy”. The study aims to answer two key questions:
- What are the drivers of, and constraints to, the corporate sector’s transition to renewable energy?
- What is the impact of renewable energy on the competitiveness of EU companies?
In order to reap the full potential of corporate sourcing of renewables and to contribute to the green energy transition, it is crucial to improve the knowledge of the opportunities and challenges (including regulatory barriers) facing EU companies that are sourcing (or aspire to source) renewable energy. This knowledge will allow for more effective policy interventions at the EU and national level.
In this context, CEPS is hosting a stakeholder workshop to present the objective, rationale and scope of the study and to discuss the role that stakeholders may play in improving the quality of the final findings and policy recommendations.
This event is free of charge; registration is required.
