Lessons from research

The last Research Meets Policy seminar under the Horizon 2020-funded EU-CIVCAP project will explore the 25 lessons for policymakers and practitioners identified during the project’s research phase. Professor Michael E. Smith of the University of Aberdeen will present the main lessons, followed by comments from discussants drawn mostly from the relevant EU institutions, before debating interventions from other participants.

This seminar serves as a forum for researchers and the policy community to debate key findings of the project, and the discussion will shape the agenda of the project’s final conference, scheduled to take place in Brussels on September 12.

About CIVCAP’s Research Meets Policy seminars: These seminars aim to engage policy-makers, practitioners and researchers in discussions about how the research-policy-practice nexus can be strengthened. These innovative seminars identify present and future research needs, assess policy and research capacities, and chart a way forward to better match research outputs with policy needs.

Participation in this event is exceptionally free of charge.
