Join CEPS for the closing conference of its European Ecosystem of Excellence in Artificial intelligence (AI) project, launched in January 2024 to propose a distinct European approach to AI. The event will showcase the project’s key findings, outlining a vision for a comprehensive EU strategy on AI, including recommendations for an EU-wide industrial strategy, foresight on AI in industry and labour markets, analyses of AI talent and workplace impacts, options for coordinated European AI initiatives, and highlights from our brand-new AI World platform.
The discussion will focus on an overarching question: how can industrial policy, skills development, and labour-market adaptation reinforce each other to boost Europe’s competitiveness in the age of AI, without undermining job security, tech sovereignty, sustainability and social cohesion?
Guest speakers, policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and social partners are invited to debate the next steps and a collaborative strategy toward a resilient, innovation-driven European AI ecosystem.
