This lunchtime meeting will debate the financing and investment challenges in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), the funding needs for CEE business and the access to finance and the alternatives to bank finance, the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and the balance between public and private financing. The CEE region has enjoyed strong growth since accession, but imbalances need to be addressed for the economies in the region to mature.
