CEPS, in collaboration with Queen Mary University of London

The main purpose of the conference is to explore the legal and policy challenges that mutual legal assistance and cybercrime are posing to EU?US cooperation.

Particular attention will be paid to issues of legal competences and accountability: first, the effects of the EU legal framework in criminal justice, cybercrime and privacy over relations and existing agreements with the US; second, the discussions taking place in the Council of Europe Cybercrime Convention Committee (T?CY).
