A future-ready workforce: optimising AI for people and places

In person event

What does it mean to have a future-ready workforce? With AI as a principal driver of change, people and places need to be prepared to make the most of this new technology. Join us for a two-part lunch event in which we present the newest research and discuss innovative policy solutions.

Before lunch, researchers share with us which skills are needed to put AI at the service of humans. Do we need only AI skills, or are human complementary skills also necessary? What is the role of transversal skills for employment and competitiveness for regions?

After lunch, we put a spotlight on the trailblazing regional authorities of Europe taking the lead in regional skills intelligence. Come listen to how they are making the most of skills data to future-proof the workforce of their cities and regions.
