0

The objective of the seminar is to evaluate the current state of play of research and innovation policies for achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Europe, and also how they can be aligned further with the SDGs.

In the first session, two presentations will be given by former chairs of high level expert groups, Professors Carlota Perez and Enrico Giovannini, on the transformative sustainability agenda for green growth and jobs in Europe.

In the second session, a panel discussion with government representatives from the European Union will help to identify ways to bring forward the transformative sustainability agenda, and therefore also to better align research and innovation policies with the SDGs as set forth in the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.

Participation in this event is by invitation only.
