On 16 March 2022, CEPS Research Assistant Dylan Macchiarini Crosson gave a lecture on the prospects for new strategic alignment of NATO and EU in the context of a YATA Germany seminar on international engagement post-Afghanistan. He unpacked the implications of the Afghanistan intervention and engagement for international crisis management, for the strategic alignment of NATO and EU as well as for the EU–NATO relationship.
