Andrei Marcu has contributed an article to the December issue of Bridges Trade BioRes, published by the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD), in which he takes stock of the state of play and dynamics surrounding international emissions trading. While their delivery may have been imperfect, he writes that carbon markets have been one of the bright spots in climate change mitigation efforts for the last 10-15 years.
