Impacts of a possible free trade agreement between the EU and China

A CEPS team of researchers led by Jacques Pelkmans, together with a team from the World Trade Institute led by Joe Francois, have concluded a report commissioned by the Foreign Trade Association (FTA) on the potential impacts of a free trade agreement between the EU and China. Entitled Tomorrow’s Silk Road: Assessing an EU-China Free Trade Agreement, the independent study aims to provide an in-depth contribution on the status of bilateral economic exchanges and existing trade costs between the European Union and China. The report is also enriched by a quantitative assessment of the economic impacts. The study will be launched on April 20th in a public event organised by the FTA.  Register online here
