In recent years, digitalisation of the economy has accelerated at a steady pace, and retail financial services for households are no exception to this phenomenon. Digital transformation in retail financial services results from the combination of a completely new approach towards data with a new model of interaction between providers and consumers. Such massive transformation brings numerous opportunities for the financial sector, but also raises a multiplicity of complex regulatory questions.
Further to the meeting held at CEPS on 08 November for the Task Force on "The future of retail financial services: Which policy mix for a balanced digital transformation", we are happy to confirm that the next meeting will take place on 08 December at CEPS, between 13:00 and 17:30.
As shown in the action plan, the purpose of this meeting will be to cover the "advertisement and information disclosure in a digital era" and "best regulatory approach to enhance digital interoperability both within and across countries".
Registration & lunch from 13:00 – Meeting from 13:30 to 17:30
