Biography:

Anton joined the Climate Change and Energy Unit in 2008 and works primarily on climate change policy. He has contributed to various reports and projects, including on border measures for tackling carbon leakage, sectoral approaches to climate change mitigation, international climate negotiations, EU-US climate cooperation, future flexible mechanisms, the fiscal implications of adaptation in the EU and financing climate action. He is also involved in tender preparation and management of projects and events. Previously he had been working mainly on the economic aspects of international climate policy and its interlinkages with technological change. He holds a Master’s in Ecological Economics – Studies in Sustainable Development from the Mälardalen University in Sweden. Before joining CEPS, he briefly worked at the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU and at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.
